What makes you think it's a puzzle and not just some ranchers that put there brands into some fresh cement? Could be a large ranch that had many different brands. If you tell us what state that thing is in we can probably look up the brands and tell you who owns them.

It's in California . and its a map to my uncles gold he buried. he has passed away recently leaving us to find it. i just know the old man is laughing in his grave. Lol but we all loved him

You gotta love the old timers that bury treasure and leave clues to find it. :laughing7:

if it was me here's how I would go about it:

How well did you know your uncle?

what nationality was he, was he an immigrant?

what type of animals did he raise? cows, horses?

did they go through all of his books and give them away? somewhere there's probably a hand written (manuscript) that will allow you to read that paver.

good luck and let us know what you find.
