Tree Blaze, Drill Holes, and how it happened.

The tree blaze was drought damage. The drill holes were in the ground and filled with fertilizer. The drought made the bark dry, die, and peel off. Took a whole year for it to heel up. Young trees tend to heal up quicker than old trees. Just something to look out for when you find those odd carvings out the forest.
