Yes the VHS-C by JVC caught something for me but it was after dark, this was one of the many that I tried all through the 90s and 2000s, this was very difficult to work and required turning down the brightness on the screen while viewing the playback in order to eliminate the white noise on the screen, the w10 is vastly superior in every way.

I tried all kinds of movie cameras during that time with full size vhs tapes and never caught an aura, this I am sure was due to the type of filtering that jvc had in their cameras at the time.

If you look above the 7 and to the left it looks like there is another carving there. What is strange the 7 looks like it was ground into the rock and not carved there are no type of chisel markings.

Spanish

Close to a Directional Marker. Two meanings: Buried gold is close by or a resting place because water and grass for livestock are nearby. The directional marker has a prominent "Rock 7" within 100' feet.

Hello,

There are several minute carvings one of a "V" and the one that looks like a claw mid upper left as you pointed out and a faint "M" an inch or two below the "7". The seven is 4 inches x 3 inches with a depth of 1/8 to 3/16" I feel very fortunate to have found it in the vast area I was hiking in. You know some things are just meant to be. Like my mantra states: I Find Things Always Have Always Will.

Hello All,

Please Note* It was my intention to fuzz the photograph due to the nature of the symbols. They all have been verified in person as true and correct.

Here is my next favorite set. From left to right:
The first is a shadow directional arrow.
The second is a shadow mine symbol X.
Third is a falling or dead man the lower round white circle being his head.
The fourth a shadow turtle sign.

Enjoy

I looked thru some of my stuff and the parallel lines mark/symbol is probably correct, although the one I have seen is much larger directly above an old mine... Probably even relates to the shaft symbol. The one I am more familiar with is a line to a box (tunnel /chamber symbol).

The fuzzy pic doesn't do anyone any good. If you want to look at ancient or weathered stuff all you have to do is squint a little and it will pop out because it smoothes out old lines..

Okay,

This is from my photograph.

The subject matter has been cropped as it is an active site.
