Unfortunately, I don't know if the Paint is Accurate

DSCF0006 - Copy.JPG

There is a Creek Behind it. (Pine Creek, I Think.)

in the 1700's Back The Tulpehocken Path ran where I was standing to Photograph the rock.

012-1024x766.jpg

& there was a Colonial Rest Area Known as the Spread Eagle about 1/2 mile north at the
cross roads of the Pine & Mahantongo Creeks.but this can only bee seen facing s.w.

So Possibly either Indian or Colonial

LOL ! Thank You much ! :notworthy:

I Personally Was hoping it was the sign that the Above Mentioned Rest area was There instead of Where History Says.

Now I feel the Fool :laughing9:

Shows what I know about Hunting & Outdoor Equipment not related to Treasure Hunting :coffee2:

It's all good Jeff. :)
That person is obviously a hunting enthusiast with the shotgun shell mailbox to boot.
I have some Browning stuff, it's good gear. I used to guide a little. Symbols can say a lot quickly in a small package.

jeff,

That's how we who are observant learn, by observation.
You would enjoy Spanish or outlaw signs & symbols, which
are often hidden in plain sight, & easier seen when looking
at pics on your computer screen. But not always seen real
clearly, or maybe fully ciphered out in the field. Not a bad
habit though, Keep on looking! I like the pics anyway...

I'm going to guess that mailbox is Super XX Magnum...Looks like my #4 Turkey Shells...That I use in my Browning 12ga.

Definitely a Browning Logo like Quinoa said.
