Heartquest:
That whale swallowing an elephant must be some kind of metaphor. Have you tried sighting through that small hoyo formed by the elephant's tail? Form both sides?

I've cranked in some contrast to bring out anything that might be worn and hidden and there are a bunch of things to the left of the yellow lines, on the elephant's hip area.....the whole area. Included are several circles that could mean different things.....from water holes, to cache holes, to having the value of "2" for each circle. Remember, a dot = 1.......a circle = 2........and a circle with a dot inside = 3. There are several letters and numbers in that area, too. The yellow linework is showing the large "V" (confirmation?) and the red line is another possible "V", but could also be indicating a ridgeline.

The eye of the whale is closed and is carved as a concaved area. There are several letters and number in the concaved area. You can double check these things in the unmarked negative I've posted.

The part of the whale's head to the right of the red line work MIGHT be a topo of the area. Is there a large depression neerby? on top of a ridge??

That large "V" has a compass value in it's angle. Just guesstamating it looks from about 120 to 135 degrees. That's just a WAG. :)

Well you gave me some homework. But mostly, when you changed the contrast the stone looks like a viper head... a very accurate one. Thanks! I will try to work with that idea. I have wondered if this is actually some sort of drop stone. It is rather precariously placed to roll over towards you.... I have wondered if it would go down into some chamber behind the heart. I guess your imagination gets wild after you've been at this awhile... still, a viper swallowing prey would be a good, and rather sinister, drop stone shape.

From what I put together, an elephant refers to heavy burden or direction from site to main trail leaving the area. I hoped to mention earlier that when shooting compass quads, one must first observe East as North, otherwise seek out N>S> E>W as such. With a parrot or predator bird, one looks over their shoulder and below.

Or these strange thing a ma giggies? These even come with a DEATH TRAP...

Ed T

In some parts of Europe and Azia, these were signs of graves. They would fill them with oil and use them as a lamp to honor the death.

Yokes, the photo of the sun face and 'snakehead' is great. Notice the flat area on the 'snakehead' it looks like a chair. I've no idea the what the size of the stones are, but if you can get up on it, see what you would be looking at. I would bring a compass and binoculars.

Great post, took me awhile to see the snake, I seen a head just below the snake, all 3 have a different direction and distance according to the heigth, the face is nearest, the snake head is next and the largest face ? may be a long distance

You want Spanish signs and symbols??? I mean real ones? How many do you want? i just logged in as new member. I wrote a E-Book,,,brand new. I have over 30 years experience. Found the first Spanish Puzzle ever intact from A-Z. The book is titled California; No Stone Unturned. your first free photo is on the cover. Look it up! Amazon.com, Barns and Noble, iBook. $9.99. For what you will see it is worth over $1000.00 . I guarentee it. If you buy the book and don't like the photo's I'll refund your money, only kenb. Tell your friends about it. The Photos are in it,,,and it is a WOW!!!!!!!

Any help would be great.

Hey Nappy,

Be careful.okay? Clearly there are rather new signs amongst the old, especially by the red painted owl in the crevice there. So, one has to ask...why are they remarking and just how new are those signs. And why make the remarks so obvious? Why do they want you to go this way or that.

The other thing is the pic you took down gave me the heebee jeebees. When I see that sort of like, but not really, Spanish sort of thing, and mixed in with outlaw or Mexican type stuff, I start to consider if it might be KGC or KGC over older stuff. I am no expert and do not hunt KGC..I tend to avoid it if I see it.

To me there is a sense of wrongness with that pic. It just seems off. As if it was trying to look like one thing when it was actually something else.
Call me a paranoid chicken lol. But be careful. Trust no one and do not forget to bring along your pals Mr Smith and Mr Wesson.

Finally, if it is KGC, what with the red..I "think" that is a danger sign.
