what are we looking at?
These were found on our fathers property. Anyone have a clue what they mean? The pic with the dates wouldn't show with a camera, so it was outlined with chauk. This is on the top of a mountain. The one that looks like an anchor is carved in granite about 1 1/2" deep. Any input would be appreciated.

Another Jesse James rock !
who would have thought two of these would pop up in the same week.
That anchor sign is back to back Js as in Jesse james as well.
Protect this brother, don't share it.
Unless you can get LOTS of money for the location and a % of the cache.

Re: what are we looking at?
Most of the initials on the rock matches the initials of the James gang.
JJ - Jesse James
FJ - Frank James
CM - Clell Miller
JY - Jim Younger, or John Younger.

I am not the original poster here, I just remembered seeing this thread a long time ago and the TV show about Jesse James the other night reminded me of it. There is a pretty good discussion about it at this link if you would like to read it.
(I wish this was on my Dad's property though, lol)
