WWII Vet recovered from ice--may he rest in peace

I'm glad he was finally recovered. The Army is incredibly good at identifying the remains of their dead; I've no doubt he will be identified and given a proper burial.

hopefully he is still wearing his togtags and can be quickly identified.its good to see that after all this time,he will finally be coming back home where he belongs.he is a hero.

They will almost certainly be able to properly identify him, and now a hero can finally go home, for proper burial and honors, and rest in peace. And his family will finally know the truth. God bless him who gave his life that we may be free.

sad that he perished and his family didn't know where he was at for the longest time.
But i am glad and grateful this hero was found for peace of mind for his family and he
can finally be given a proper burial.
Being former military, myself, i understand their hardships. For you on here that were
military before me, thank you for blazing the path of freedom for our country!
For those still serving, I owe a debt of gratitude for your efforts, especially with all
you're going through nowadays! :)
