Ship was called "Estrella del Mar"
Was taken by force in Pisco (Peru) in 1811
They took the ship (by force) to the south of Lima
Unload and sunk the ship
The crew was killed somewhere in "crus de ueso" now "San Bartolo"
The treasure was driven inland

One of my relatives found a little box in a town near Lima in 1930, it contained some gold and silver coins and a sheet of paper dated 1811 with directions as to how to get to main treasure. The first page tells the motivation, story etc. the back page contains directions as to how to get to the treasure.... but is not that easy, this is a desert, names are not firm through history and after a number of trips (I made) seems that the trick is more tofollow the story than the directions.

Reviewing all aerial photos of the zone I found one from 1931 where there is a little church (now gone) that might confirm the place were the crew was killed.

I have validated the paper throught i.e. historical references and the paper itself (ink, paper type, etc.). Just need to get a new load of energy to go there again... I need to validate some things that I did not validate then.

For example I never look for the sunken ship.

Volunteers?
