6 feet deep? Thats a lot of digging! But it looks like it was worth it. :)

I don't give up until my detector shuts up! Keep digging! I thought my older-than-me detector was only good for about 6 inches, yet I found things buried double+ that distance!

The question is whether or not he was smart enough to use his detector for directional location. As soon as I figure out that my detector is picking up from everywhere, the area is likely to hot for my detector, time to move on!

Common sense should still override the desire to dig.

I did this once, ended up digging 4 feet down on the beach until I hit my prize - a galvanized steel wire garbage can. No idea how it managed to become entombed down there. :D

My atp is really good at finding beer cans as deep as 2 feet at the beach. Thankfully there is a ten cent deposit on them. Michigan clad!
