Engagement ring discovered on beach 43 years after being lost in sand

An engagement ring lost more than 40 years ago on a Fife beach has been returned to its late owner's daughter thanks to the perseverance of a metal detectorist.
The ring was found in the sand by George Taylor on a beach near Carnoustie, in Angus.
