Stories like that make me excited to get back out hunting! What an incredible find and search effort... I wonder if most treasure hunters would recover the cache themselves and keep it secret or do what these guys did and call in professional archaeologists...? Thoughts of folks out there would be interesting to hear! For me, I've never trusted archaeologists... :laughing7:

Yea it's a different Story in England.
They at least Have to pay Value or give it Back.

Over here they can steal it from ya, and leave ya questioning yourself

I believe in the UK, if they want it they only have to pay 10% of value? True or No? Like a finders reward?

No, in the UK the government must pay you the market value.
