Come my children and you shall hear, the distinct eerie sounds of Paul Revere.
As he galloped and ran from the rear of his house, while his fellow countrymen slept in their beds quiet as a mouse.
As he fumbled with buttons while on a dead run, he knew all too soon that this was no fun.
While he made great time across the field and through the gate, he realized that when reaching the privy, that he had arrived much too late.

THE MIDNIGHT RIDE OF PAUL REVERE

Off from the bed and onto the floor,
a fifty yard dash to the outhouse door.

A dad caught his son by the collar, "Son, did you knock over the outhouse?"
Son, "I cannot tell a lie. Yes Papa, I did."
The dad quickly turned the boy over his knee and spanked him good.
Son, "Papa, when George Washington chopped down the cherry tree his dad didn't spank him."
Dad, "That's true, son, but his dad wasn't in the cherry tree."

The wealthy used a chamber Pot and the staff and guests used the House. I would guess he would use it during the day? Who knows I am not an expert in crap.

That will be revealed as they date artifacts and testing. I'm guessing, that is.

You all are rotten! Have me choking on supper! Lol!

There's lots of stuff down them privies! And yes there is odor. That's a key to finding them. I've been all over this place trying to find the privies. Thought there should be more than one because it's nearly 200 yrs. Went to a digger club and asked someone. Found out in the country, they didn't bother. They just ran outside!
