Personally I think astrology and such are interesting, but that's about it. If we can't even mine a giant gold asteroid that's in our own solar system; What is the point in trying to find livable planets in other solar systems or in other galaxies, when we have so many living in poverty right here?

issue is transport costs, mining costs, and a delude of gold on the market would significantly lower the value.

I love gold as much as anyone I think but you can't eat it and you can't use it for fuel or squeeze water out of it.
