On a personal note, I had this game as a kid and I can understand the hype. Everybody loved this game, and despite the fact that many copies were produced, no one thought to keep one sealed and unused. Finding a copy that's been properly stored for 35 years and in near pristine is unheard of, nevermind such an early version.

Geezzzz, I too had this game back in the '90's. It looks like it was "graded" as well, like baseball cards.
On another note, I've given my wife several of the 1st edition Harry Potter Legos red boxes. She has not
opened them & has been watching the prices skyrocket on ebay.
