F/S Minelab Excalibur
Early model Excal ser # EX-198 in great operating and cosmetic condition. Detector is water tight and all of the "O" rings are in perfect shape, I would rate it an 8 out of 10. This unit was serviced by Minelab about two years ago and given a clean bill of health. I have never used it because I have several other water machines. The battery is a Nimh and is also in good condition. It comes with the horseshoe coil and teal colored headphones that are extremely loud. Some of the knobs have a small hair line crack in them but not enough to worry about. $725 shipped.

Re: F/S Minelab Excalibur
Nice detector Mel, very clean..I just bought one a month ago just like it...did a side by side with the New Excalibur II...Gotta say the old 8 inch beat the new excalibur II 10 inch hands down in depth by 4 inchs on a 7.5 gram size 13 14k ring..and the tones on the Older excal are more vivid....I maybe wrong but I would almost swear they have detuned the excaliburs over the years.............Good Luck...Joe

Mel, did you just sell this Minelab? Because I just bought one off ebay, same # 198. Let me know, Steve.

Re: F/S Minelab Excalibur
Yep, it was Mel. Fast shipping, very good packing-foam and inflated bags, and peanuts. Everything was bagged, and clean and perfect. Looks like this Excal didnt get used much. Tried it out, and not used to the different sounds, so it will take me a while using it and listening. I am used to PIs with same sound all the time. Thanks Mel Parker!
