Matter a fact I just recieved it last wednesday. I thouhgt I would enjoy doing this but to be honest I would rather sell my silver for less than spot than to spent the hours melting for a few dollars more.

Where did you get the micro furnace and where do you melt it down. I would want to get one i have a lot of old scrap gold. If you would let me know i would appretiate it

Will buy that silver ... but ...
I would want to know the source of the Silver.
and ... It would need to be assayed and certified before I would accept it as pure silver.

Melting down "925" or "Sterling Silver" dont make it pure regardless of what flux you use ... coin silver is even less pure ... usually only 80% or 90%.

Are you sure you have "pure" silver ... more commonly known as "fine" silver?
