Never used one, but, the Spectrums were the Rolls-Royce of detectors back in the day. Deeper than deep, stable & accurate. They're still one of the better units out there to this day. You're going to be making a tnet buyer very happy when they purchase this

It's already packaged for sale, so I don't want to unpack it for a pic of the display. It looks like any other display. Sorry.
The coil is the one it came with when I bought it.
I have been using it this way for a long time. No issues.
Never really knew there was a different coil.
It is what it is , that's how its being sold and it makes no difference
in it's performance that I can see.

I did not know when I started posting this that the guy who sold it to me a few years ago
sold it with a different coil. It has always worked fine, so when you say "selling it with a mismatched coil", you make it sound defective. It works just fine with no issues.
Sure, I am frustrated that it has taken so long to sell. Part of it is because I have been nice to two people. One totally flaked after I had waited quite a while. He didn't even have the decency to let me know. His friend tried to set up the deal with this guy and he even made his friend look bad. The second guy has been waiting for a check from his work for two weeks now. I understand $$ is tight now, so I am tolerant (to a point). I still have two others who are interested, but am leaving it up because, who knows, these folks can also fall through the cracks.
Sorry I ranted, but this has been a real hassle for something that should have been really easy.
I don't want to use ebay because between ebay and paypal they rip you off to the tune of 15% of the total.
