FS Whites Silver Eagle - Sale withdrawn for the auction

If you are familiar with the Silver Eagle you already know they are proven machines.

I bought this last winter for a few bucks in non-working condition hoping I could bring it back to life on my own. No such luck. I sent it Whites last May. They fixed whatever was wrong, tuned it up, replace the factory coil with a new coil, and replaced the display window. I also replaced the battery pack and lower rod to go with the new style coil. As a result this thing is in really good shape for this vintage. It rocks. But this detector is a little too heavy for me and I haven't hardly used it. Also the new style lower rod is a little longer than the original so for me it's a little long even all the way up. I could have shortened the lower rod but decided to leave it alone. If you are taller you shouldn't need a tall man lower rod!

I looked for previous sales to determine a reasonable asking price and it's all over the map. This has been overhauled, has a new coil and is cosmetically pretty good. I'm asking $240 shipped in the 48 states OBO. I'm not interested in trades.
