I ordered my Ranger yesterday. Matt is easy to work with and gives suggestions. I have tried a lot of pouches and hope this is the one.

absolutely love mine!! Got the extra zipped pouches on the front and one inside. Ample storage and the quality is that of high end gear!! Went with the park ranger model and couldn't be happier! pin-pointer fits perfect!

Awesome, another local got one. When we meet up we’ll have to compare custom options.

The big thing I asked for was a full width belt loop that is integrated on to the side of the pouch(side view pic of belt loop included below) instead of the 2 individual loops or hanging up from the pouch, It would make it to where the belt is no higher then the side of the pouch and making the overall pouch lower profile. I also asked for 2 separate digger sheaths on the inside of the pouch, one for my Raptor and one for my lesche. I am a lefty so I asked for the pin pointer holder be on the other side too.. Other custom goodies are a couple of zipper pouches in front, a camera loop and a D ring.. I am looking forward to it. He did a great job on a shovel sheath a while back so I know it will be good!!
I like your belt loop customization as it also helps keep the pouch from cinching up during the course of the hunt (I have solved that with a padded utility belt/harness, but did the harness for other reasons - for short hunts the other belt customization might just be the ticket as I do not wear a harness). Hmm...

Matt, question on a custom job (money is no object as long as my wife doesn’t catch me) I was thinking of a right hipped Park ranger with an attached drop leg for pin pointer and a Lesch tool. Could you do that?

    So,

You want to make a park ranger a drop leg? I Think I understand where you're going with it, but it's probably best to PM me with your specs. This thread would get cluttered fast otherwise.

Ok Folks here is my Custom Pack mule. Everything is as I wanted. I like my Low profile heavy duty belt loop a lot. I also like how I have my hand diggers arranged so I don't have a digger handles digging into my Spare tire One Digger sheath fits my Predator raptor and one fits the standard lesche style.( I only carry one at a time in reality.

The Pinpointer in on the other side since I swing left as well. Good stuff!

    Hey, Freeloader.

I'm still really liking my Park Ranger, but finding I prefer a shoulder strap over a belt. Ive taken a shoulder strap from an old fishing gear bag and clipped it on at the loops, it works well enough but I think it could be better.

Have you ever created or considered any alternate loops or attachment cuts/methods more oriented towards a shoulder strap configuration? Like a shoulder hip bag? Id be interested a new customized bag if you'd like to give it a go.

Glad to see the camera loop worked out,
I was worried it would be to small/big.

I have made a couple with loops to attach a shoulder strap. I would like to make a messenger bag / satchel type finds pouch one of these days

Still interested. Any pics of the shoulder loops you have done?
