Hi there, i am missing the knurled screws that hold my battery cover on my old garrett metal detector. I have contacted Garrett a couple times and they sent me wrong screws. Does anyone have a spare couple knurled screws that fit my battery cover for my detector.
cheers and thanks, john

You may be able to get what you need at a lowe's or Home Depot in their special hardware area. They have the metal and plastic knurled nuts. Use a short piece of the screw super glued or with Loctite into the nut and you will be all set.

Good idea! Lowe's or Home Depot might even have Knurled bolts/screws that will fit. Just find a bolt/screw that will fit in the anchored nuts on the metal detector, then take it to Lowe's or Home depot to see if you can match it.
