Okay I give up. I Googled "Coin Cop Tester" and nada. I have a Rydale manual penny sorter I might part with. I am on the right track?

Sounds like the "Wandering Genie" I have been poking around garage sales for years trying to find. Is the Coin Cop a COPer COIN sorter?

No it's a gold and silver coin tester. Very cool. You put in a coin silver or gold that you know is real. Set it to 0 then put in the coin in question. The. It let you know if the composite is the same

Oh a coin comparator of sorts. I got one cheap, fleabay. IIRC I think it can be set to accept or reject whatever coin you put in the slot. Good luck in your quest.

It is very similar to the one in this video. They come in just about every coin operated machine out there. Vending machines, slot machines etc...
