On another board, there is a section for stolen artifacts, fraudulent dealers, etc.
If a member or friend of one, god forbid has some of his or her stuff stolen, then they can post pics of it in that section and we can all be on the lookout for it. Believe it or not, this stuff does sometimes get returned to the owners.
I know of an incident where this system helped a man get back a four inch Scottsbluff spear point that was stolen from his house near Texarkana, TX.
It turned up a couple months later in a pawn shop in Logansport, LA.
