Gone, or banned?
Are the Religion and Politics boards deleted, or are some of us just banned from them ?
Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you. Acts 13:41

Either one of those would be equally bad.

Re: Gone, or banned?
I'd rather suffer from PMS and be able to drink my beer. Imagine what it's like the other way 'round!

PMS can stand for premenstrual syndrome...or post-menstrual syndrome...
In our house, it's perpetual menstrual syndrome

Re: Gone, or banned?
I heard PMS stood for Puttin up with Men's Sh*t. Thanks for clarifying it with the definition. I probably deserve to be banned from religion and politics.

For what it's worth, You never know what will happen with the new owners of this site. Yes, sure, he's still an admin, but when will that end. I hope that this will still be a place where we can talk openly about anyone or anything without fear of .... oops, I just got banned.

Marc...today is a new day...we love you....here's a cup of coffee for you, now we need our fix...LOL please let us bounce in the rubber room once more!
Dear texastee2007;
I personally think that Marc made the correct decision when he got rid of The Rubber Room. The RELIGION section was full of anti-Catholic hatred, unfounded accusations against other forum members, lies of every stripe, blasphemies of all descriptions and heresies of all sorts. Certainly it's far better not to have a forum section of this nature than having to endure one where hatred against Roman Catholics was being spawned and permitted to grow.
The only way to rid the forum from this sort of prejudice is to silence those participants who continue to accuse the Holy Mother Church of being the *harlot* of Babylon and other such nonsense. Marc cannot make people stop hating, however he can make them take it somewhere else and I am quite pleased with his decision in doing exactly this.
Marc, I applaud you!
Your friend;

Study Identifies Couples’ Underlying Concerns During a Fight
"Sanford and his research have identified the first type of underlying concern as perceived threat, which involves a perception that one's partner is being hostile, critical, blaming or controlling.
The second type of concern is called perceived neglect, which involves a perception that one's partner is failing to make a desired contribution or failing to demonstrate an ideal level of commitment or investment in the relationship."
I guess this could apply more widely in some circumstances.
