How about Identifying Your State?
I am very new here, and enjoy reading all of the forums....several times while reading a story, I wondered where the person lives, as in the State....There must be some way to post our State with the story, like, how about next to our monikers?....Just a thought....(I am in California) SushiDog

Re: How about Identifying Your State?
On that subject; it would be nice if everyone would identify the state they live in and not something like "way out west" or "hovering around", etc.

Re: How about Identifying Your State?
I'm with you brother!.....'cause....some of these guys are telling stories, and you don't know where they are located....ALSO, when you are reading through the Forum posts, you don't know where that person resides....so....if I see a topic....I should be able to see at least what region the person is residing so I have a choice of clicking on the post or not....well...poorly stated, but I hope you know what I mean....SushiDog

Re: How about Identifying Your State?
My profile shows within a few feet where I reside on a map and my email. Maybe some of them think someone is going to find their hunting ground?!? or they could be afraid of scammers..

Re: How about Identifying Your State?
Some people do not want others to know what city and or state they are from to protect their hunting grounds, and to remain anonymous...A picture is just a picture when you do not know what state it is, but many times when you know the state and region a picture or find is found someone with the talent and desire can many times nail down where picture was taken thus giving away the location of specific hunting areas they may want to remain private or secret.

Re: How about Identifying Your State?
Identifying your state is one thing; taking pictures of where you detect that shows landmarks is another thing and not so smart...remember the sharkpit guy..
