How about a section for comical finds such as this one?

Found this brass item (ashtray or candy plate ) under 2" of soil a few months back, realising it was not an old(?) item I scrubbed brasso on it, everybody I have shown it to wanted to buy it from me, shure brought a lot of laughs.....so here we go, obverse and reverse side.

PS: probably some guy's wife that trew it out a car window.....lol.

No problem, we all have to start somewhere! TNet gets ALOT of visitors, and alot of those visitors are not members, so they don't comment, even if you don't get alot of comments, that people are looking is a good thing, it means you have something interesting! And also, some people like to read more than write, so it just depends. The downloads, you got me there, anyone out there who can help please? Red

Just goes to show that you never know what's gonna come out of the ground. Some kid probably swiped that from his Dad to show it to his friends and had to get rid of it before he got caught with it (that's what I would have done ). I'll bet that was considered pretty racy at the time. neat find, thanks for posting it

How should the Mods rate a comical find?

    Scale from 1 to 10?

    Funny dumb or really hilarious?

What if the Mod doesn't have a sense of humor?

I hope I don't get in trouble for this. Did anyone wonder what was in the basket?
I knew a man who rode his horse backwards, because seeing where he has been was much less scary than seeing where he was going.
