Jeff - Sorry, very new to this website. First post today, and still trying to find my way around. I will re-post per your recommendation.

Surf - I think the "P" stands for Police, per my initial research. Not sure though! It says....."Waterbury Button Company, then a small star like symbol, then "Conn."

That is a button off of an early 1900's Police jacket. I would guess from how its made 1930's

I'll probably have to take a couple road trips to other countries before I'll qualify for Banner worthy finds. Still having fun despite the luster.

use a magnet on it if it sticks to the magnet you might have a piece of meteorite.
