Treasure Hunter with Kirsten Gum on The Travel Channel

Did anyone see the latest episode where they were metal detecting in South Carolina? Can anyone tell me what kind of metal detector Kirsten and the Cissna guy were using?

It looked like she was using a Fisher F-? and he was using a Tesoro Tejon.

I watched it...it was OK...But I wish she'd stop whining about everything....the sharks, the heat and the spiders...They spent more time showing the damn spiders than the relics they found...

I didn't mind the Spider shots.

But I thought the Shark Tank Bit was a waste of Time.

I watched part of the episode where she was knapping obsidian and fishing. I think she is just a foul mouthed, whiney little brat. It really kinda put me off.

I agree...I was talking about this with last weeks episode. They throw these little filler side stories that I have no interest in. Last week it was white water rafting and shoeing a horse...this week the feeding of the sharks.

Did you also catch that they found a Indian Head and a Seated coin but she stated they were coins from the 1700s. lol. There were some pretty nice Civil War buttons that they found.

I do enjoy the show but I have to watch it on the DVR and fast forward through about a third of the show.

Ya gotta remember their favorite phrase. "Edited for entertainment value" Doesn't have to relate, doesn't have to be factualy correct, doesn't matter if they took the interviewes statement and edited it to turn it all around, it was "Edited for entertainment value"
I know it's here, just need a bigger coil!
