Glee - What do you think?

I've been hearing so much hype about this show recently (especially from the homosexual community), but I never watched it. Anyway, at my boyfriend's, we saw that his sister had Glee saved on the DVR, so we decided to watch it.

I honestly don't know what to think of it. Since I'm somewhat of a theater geek, I found the singing parts kinda entertaining, but the rest of the show, not so much. It seems to me that the majority of characters on this show are whiny attention-whores, and that the episodes are poorly written. Do people actually pay attention to the rest of the show, or just wait for the musical numbers?

Anyway, what are your thoughts about it?

I've heard a lot about it as well, to me it does seem like a show that would be geared towards women and homosexual men. Not my cup of tea for sure.

I'm gay, and now that I think about it, Glee is a stupid show :P
