How did everyone like Diggers?

How did everyone like the show? I thought it was pretty good, I liked how they focused on history. I would like to see more about the equipment and technique, but that would bore some people. Anyway, they hunted on welcome sites, need to go over the ethics of metal detecting. LOVED the AT PRO's, and PRO-Pointers! I give it a !

I don't know the "civ" stuff well enough to comment on the prices.

The first episode they found a couple dollars in clad and some common tokens and they somehow had about $100 each worth of stuff.

Not to mention I'm not sure they really even know how to swing a detector.

i enjoyed it because it shows just how crazy some treasure hunters and diggers are. I did enjoy it because while its 11 pm here... i can still watch some people metal detect. I felt some of their prices were high but im not a true appraiser for that sort of stuff. I'll definatly be watching it agiain.

I enjoyed it, especially their excitement of their finds. I had a slight problem with them finding ANYTHING with their coils in the salt water at the beach. Am I missing something here? My ACE 250 and VAQUERO absolutely HATE salt water! Beach is fine and wet sand is fine with the sensitivity turned down a tad but coil IN the salt water? Does the AT PRO have that capability? Otherwise, it was nice to allowed to hunt those areas!

I'm not sure yet how I feel about the show, I was laughing as I was learning their digging lingo, like round, and other words.. they both sure had alot of enthusiam thou.

I thought it was about as real as it could be and still get viewers that dont detect...it was a lot closer to real than most reality shows...I liked it.

It's what Garrett users do when they aren't finding old coins... They come up with silly words to get attention.

The talk was probably in the script. Too much reality show BS. I didn't think much of the inflated values they put on items, which to me kind of puts us in a bad light, like the general public, and especially politicians will think we are out there making big bucks. And I'd like to see them fill their holes and show some of the junk they find, and then show them packing it off.

It's on my dvr, going to watch it in a few minutes. going off what was said here it sound like it is about what I expected. Hoped they would have focused on some temperamental subjects like filling holes, and heck if there are future episodes maybe they can discuss the absurd rules and regulations many of us fill we have to tip toe around to try and enjoy our hobby?

The over estimated prices, I expected, just like the storage auction shows, found a set of 1980 Aluminum Camaro rims, they gotta be worth atleast two to three hundred a piece!....umm, no....

This here is a 1994 Apple computer, this is about when the computer boom started, this is atleast $200 bucks....ummm, no....

I hot the jackpot here, this is an original 1957 chevy pickup windshield, it fits the description of the antiquity laws, therefore it darn near priceless....um, no....

Sorry not letting this antiquity law stuff go very easily......

I watched the show and thought that it could have been better. The show could have done without redneck dude. He kept calling tokens "tokes"...I wonder what he was Tokin'...

Also they were messy with their holes...even being new to the hobby, I try to dig better and neater holes.

I don't think that this show will last.

Could do without the Fake beeping in the backround,

added to the value. (Be honest,

but other then that,
I give it a solid 8
on a scale from
1 to 10 so far. simply because 9 would require
they get rid of the fake beeps, &
Get me the prices they are selling for.
& giving any so called reality tv show a 10 would be
obscene.
