Re: Nobody watched "American Diggers" last night?

Anybody know where this show can be watched online?

I think most people didn't watch it because they had no idea it was on. Spike's own website says it isn't going to air until March 21st.

I thought "Diggers" was much better. "American Diggers" had hardly any digging. I really hated the part where the one guy was swinging his E-trac and the sound used was from the MXT.

I just caught the last of it where they found the revolver and sold their stuff. I'm no expert but the price seemed pretty unrealistic.

I think that's true of all these storage auction shows also. I wonder how many people have lost all their money trying to get rich quick off of storage lockers since these shows came on TV?

entertaining at best, I thought Ric looked just like Frank from American Pickers :laughing9: and you would have to be a complete idiot to climb into a hole like that in the Ariz desert :icon_scratch:

i think last nites show was a sample of things ta come, i noticed in the corner of the TV it said preview or something to that affect, the premiere airs on the 21st......either way it was a train wreck and a black eye to the hobby

I liked the fact that he knocked on doors most of the day and was told no they could not detect on peoples property. Another thing is negotiating with the property owner about how much money they will receive. If your bringing a backhoe into my yard I can guarantee you are going to pay me more than 40% and your not going to pitch your tents in my yard. I do not see how this show or other "Digger" shows will benefit metal detectors.

I'd let any "Detectorist" hunt my Property without Permission.

First thing I'd say to these American Phoneys,
90% to me, or walk away NOW !

By the way, Dosn't Iron Rust in Alaska ?

Iron I Dig is Covered in Rust & Dirt Crust in all it's Nooks
and Cranies. That trap would be in Dire need of Electrolysis.
What age group are they Fooling ?

You know I have with held comments about this show from facebook and other forums on the web. I watched "diggers" and it was OK its not something that I would agree with BUT "American Digger" even though I have much respect for some of the cast members, was a complete joke, and crap I realize that is just reality TV but if your going to make a show on relic hunting and get paid for it at least make believeable. I think this will hurt everyone in the long run land owners will believe that plow points and old garden hoes will be worth hundreds of dollars if this show stays on for any amount of time. I believe maybe the host is a bit to agressive with landowners also they should think to portray this series on the historical side and how to preserve it rather than making a living off it.
