Do your research for Minelab Multi-IQ. That will give you weeks worth of reading and more info than you ever wanted to know.

It is running Multi-IQ which consists of 5. 10, 15, 20 and 40 khz all being transmitted at same time.

Here is link to Minelab Equinox, Vanquish runs same 5 frequencies, Equinox you can pick individual or run all 5, Vanquish you don't have the option to select single frequencies.

Your dealer doesnt have a clue what hes talking about. Buy from someone else, because you will never know what else he is lying about.

It is Multi-IQ, 5,10,15,20 and 40khz same as Equinox 600 and 800 and the next model upgrade Minelab releases.

Wrong.

5 -40-kHz

Wrong.

Wrong.

That picture is for the Equinox 800. Don't go off the picture, scroll down to the real specifications.
Equinox 800 specs: MULTI-IQ 5, 10, 15, 20, 40
Equinox 600 specs: MULTI-IQ 5, 10, 15
Vanquish 540: Just says MULTI-IQ, so likely only 5, 10, 15 like the Equinox 600 or perhaps only 5, 10
I would call Minelab and ask them why they don't list the true frequencies for the Vanquish 540

hello
this is what i been looking for, 5-40 khz,
thanks

It could be 5-40, but it might not be. The website doesn't specify. And the Equinox 600 is 5, 10, 15 so I kinda doubt it's anymore than that, but maybe.

It is not wrong, when in Multi-IQ mode both 600 and 800 run the same 5 freq, the 600 is missing the 20 and 40 khz as individual selectable freq like the 800 has. In Multi-IQ mode both the 600 and 800 run the same 5 frequencies.

I also worked for Minelab.

Congratulations. What an amazing first post to be 100% wrong on everything you said, and prove you have no true understanding of what you are attempting to refute.

Multi-IQ technology is one of Minelab’s most impressive technological advancements. This technology allows the detector to function on multiple frequencies at once. Rather than having adjustable frequencies, this line of detectors can operate on all 5 of the frequencies simultaneously. The Vanquish line cannot operate on single frequencies, unlike some of Minelab’s other multiple frequency detectors. Operating frequencies are: 5 kHz, 10 kHz, 15 kHz, 20 kHz, and 40 kHz. The lower frequencies are best for highly conductive metals like silver, while the higher frequencies are best for lower conductivity metals like gold.
