Just purch. a V440 as a back up machine. Would appreciate current owners/users experience with Gold jewelry...especially rings. What did you recover and what was the VDI value???? Helpful tips are very much WELCOME!

in jewelry mode, florida sandy soil : 6-7 on a small pendant, 13 on my thin wedding band , 17 on a thicker wedding band (all 14K) hope that helps
