Ok thanks I was just making sure cause I wanted to do it legally... But I guess I'm just so use to getting asked for my permit on Long Island.. Thanks again

Am not aware of any permits up here in the Green Mountain state. Some towns have local ordinances (some vague, others more restrictive) so if you plan to hunt parks then best check with the individual towns. I believe Montpelier has some "no go" areas, but most don't. Other thing here in Vermont...no MD'ing in state parks other than common grounds (picnic areas, public beaches etc) and only down to 3". Cellar holes on state land a no go. As in most states, permission on pvt property is the best way to go if that's your aim.
