Can anyone tell me what happened here? Did they sell the land? Were they able to find the buried silver and gold on the property? Who owns the propertyu now?
I go a great distance, while some are considering whether they will start today or tomorrow

"In many of these barns and outbuildings a number
of safes and hiding places were discovered,
including one spot beneath the wood pile beside the
house. Remarkably A.K. had some $900,000 worth of
gold bullion, over $100,000 in gold coins, silver bullion..."
Sounds like they found it, but who knows the guy could have had plenty of hiding spots never discovered. I live about 2hrs away from Orange... maybe one day if the gas prices drop
I live only a few miles from the old A.K. Miller place.
Christies held the estate auction.
When all of the loot was discovered upon his death there was quite a lot of excitement in this area. There were Many hundreds of silver dollars hidden everywhere, silver bars, large ones like bread loaves. Among the other stuff, Studz cars, many rare ones, Two bear cats. Stacks of paper money, etc, etc.
Orange county sherrifs department was on 24 hour guard duty for the weeks leading up to the auction.
I think you can get a copy of the auction cataloge from Christies. I have seen the cataloge. Very interesting.
The state and federal government seized most of the procedes from the auction I think, claiming that MR. Miller never paid taxes.....
The house is mostly torn down now..... People looking for more treasure i guess...
