Tidewater Native Artifacts

Does anyone have any info/suggestions as to where I might search for native American artifacts in the virginia beach/tidewater area? I've always wanted to give it a shot but could use some pointing in the right direction. I've tried doing some research on my own but haven't been able to find any possible locations that haven't been developed. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hello Joe, There is a spot over by Arrowhead Lake in Virginia Beach. People have found arrowheads and pieces of pottery. I looked around but dont now how to find things that are not metal around here.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah I've never tried finding arrowheads or anything like that, just metal for me. But I'd like to give it a shot.
