Hello everyone-

My name is Gary and I live near Charlottesville, VA. Started relic hunting in 1995 but moved away after a year and just resumed a couple of months ago.

I use a White's XLT E-series and I am interested in Civil War artifacts. I have hunted several sites in Orange and Culpeper Counties.

Looking for some other people to hunt with since I don't know many people that have this as a hobby.

Did you find that plate in your avatar?? If so, awesome.

You aren't a very far trip from me, at most 2 hours. I live in the Northern Valley, near Winchester. If you want to hunt around, PM me.

Actually, my grandfather found that in the 70's along with some other things. He made the mistake of cleaning it up and wearing it. I inherited the relics.

I have only found bullets, a flat button and today a knapsack hook. But there is more to be found. I am certain.

Definitely interested in hooking up.
