    Moving to Washington soon!

Hey guys and gals. I live in Maine right now, but will be moving to Whidbey Island in October. I just wanted to meet and talk with some people from this area and maybe find some new detecting buddies for when I get out there. I wouldnt mind being part of a club either. I cant wait to here from you guys! Take care and happy hunting.

Welcome. A water proof detector and a wet suit will be handy. Gotcha. October is one of the rainiest months of the year.

You well like the hunting here in Washington.

We don't have much lobsters, only craw dads, but there are large squid that wash up on the beachs of Whidbey Island.

Are you from Whidbey Island, or just somewhere close? Thanks for the tips.

I'm in the South west part of Puget Sound. I lived close to the island as a kid and been on the island frequently. I camped in the park at Deception Pass.

If you bring me seven Maine lobsters I will take you to a place where you can dig gold bars all day long.

Whidbey has some great historical places on it but they won't let you dig them and getting here in October you should see sunshine by April. Here we rust rather than tan so bring WD-40 instead of tanning lotion.

When you get settled let us know.

We glow in the dark, how silly is that. Freckles glow under a black light.

    I rust instead of tan.
