Well it should be here in the next 3 too 4 days, so I will give it a real good challenge in my front yard, been over it with Garrett, Whites, Fishers, and soon the E-trac!

you will be very pleased with the increase in finds, however your arm will get sore from digging the deep stuff you missed before

LOL ...I just went out with it yesterday, too a old favorite spot, searched a tiny area I had hit before with my Fisher CZ-5, the Mxt, and the fisher F-70.......popped out a 1942 merc dime in the wet sand about 6 inches deep, then proceeded to dig up a 1939 wheatie not long after that........This machine is amazing one you get the feel for it!

I found out that in some soil around here..that the numbers sometimes show up around zinc penny range but the depth meter show too deep for for what a zinc would be...I dug the targets and got 2 wheaties...little lesson learned!.....I cant wait until I get about a year on this thing!.....and I will keep you posted!

I want an E-Trac bad, but it won't be happening anytime soon.

Guess I'll have to make to most of my F2 for now. :)

Best of luck!

Sim_player I have a F-2 also, great detector for the money! I like how fast you can sweep that detector and still hit good targets!....The etrac does not like to be swung real fast....but man will it get deep even in our crappy soil! as long as you go slow!

Im having fun with it...everytime I go out Im like a kid in the candy store just waiting to pop out that silver....but for the life of me...the only silver coin that has eluded me is a silver washington quarter......Im pretty sure when I sweep over one I wont miss it...The E-trac kills the clad quarters...so I just need to sweep over one :( its my goal for this year!!!!! wish me luck!

I don't use an etrac but always like to see what people find with them. Keep posting, I would like to know more about your success with it. I'm a white's guy and also use a CZ-21 for beach and water. It also is not too shabby on deep silver beach hunting.
Good luck.

You guys wanted me to keep you posted on here...so I am :headbang:
