My digging partner and I try to get out every week or 2. Last week we went prospecting up the Satsop River valley. No gold in any of the creeks we checked but the weather was great and saw some beautiful country. We'll have to get up there again sometime, there's so many more places to eliminate that one of these days we'll find the source of the fine gold in the West Satsop.

Some doctored pics from the trip......

Me and my buddy eric went last wed down to the cedar river in renton. Found a good amount of floor flour gold. Weather was nice. Looking for a productive summer. Gonna attempt to buy a 4 or 5 inch dredge.

Mike, that's some excellent processing on the images...:icon_thumright:

Haven't had a chance to get out much so far this spring, and to be
honest I'm completely fed up with the damn rain. Used to not bother
me so much, but as I get older there's little desire to go out and get
soaked and cold for a few bits of color.

Considering escaping the state for a few days and heading down to
Oregon. Maybe So. Oregon? Don't know where to go there, but
if it ain't rainin' it'll be worth the trip.
