So got what I am pretty sure a lowend beginner MD for Xmas and looking for some one to show me the way's of Treasure Hunting! (or finding a coin or two) :-)

Found Two Rusty Nails in the gravel drive way the other day. Any one got some good places to search in the Lynnwood area? Let me know!

Some of these boards don't get as much attention as the larger ones- try general discussion or metal detecting.

Best bet to get your feet wet would be a local park or schoolyard. Then from there, old mining camps, lumber camps, fairgrounds, Boy Scout camps, old houses, ghost towns, CCC camps, farmers markets, rural mailboxes, depression era homesteads, campgrounds, county parks, swimming holes, etc.

Anyplace you can think of where coins changed hands. Even bus stops! LOL!
