HELP Downloading Google Earth

Have you tried searching for a location or zooming in? Just keep on zooming in. Or do a search on the left hand side using a zip code or address....

What version of Windows are you using? I had the same problem, I'm running XP. Eventually trial and error taught me that the latest version of GE doesn't work with XP, but the next-to-latest one does. Glad to see someone else uses GE. I started a thread on it, and you could conclude that THers don't even know about it. I know that can't be true.

delete ALL google earth files from your computer do a custom install download 6.2 and don't allow updates. and use open gl not directx

try right clicking on the google earth icon and then left click on "Run as Administrator"...... see if that helps. (I'm running windows 7) also try just left clicking on the icon and let it sit for about two minutes..... Mine does just like yours but after two minutes it starts zooming in and works..... I would be lost without google earth
