Hi all i dug this 1760 coin out of a potato field last year since then i have not been able to find this exact coin online with the front and reverse marks a Tulip on the front and a Steer on the reverse i have seen many coins just like this except for those 2 marks ,once i saw this coin at a Paris auction last year go for 800.00 USD but it was in a lot worse shape then mine it had a crack almost half way through the coin from the top of the bust to the middle ,after seeing that i just assumed mine would be worth a lot more ? thanks for any help Dd60

Your coin is of a different date, and that, along with perhaps a different denomination , will obviously affect value.

Yours, obviously, is of a different date, and that may explain the difference in price realized.
