Hey guys, I found this padlock today. It says A&GW RR on the front and on the back it says

T. SLAIGHT
Patent
OCT 14 ??
Newark

on doing research i believe the patent year is 1851 and its Newark NJ...I only found one example online that looks like mine, but the guy said his says USMRR on the back, but I dont see that on mine

If anyone can provide any more information that would be helpful. It seems like this type of lock sells for some $$$

Very sweet find ! I believe I'm becoming interested in those old padlocks. They don't make them like that anymore. Thanks for sharing.
