If you could please post a better picture of front and back... Virginia rectangle belt plate, state seal Virtus slaying the tyrant with sword down, J S Smith style, stamped ... These can go in the range of $2,500 to $3,000 and sometimes even higher... The damage to yours will decrease the value of course but still one hell of a find..
