Looks like maybe a Cutlass although the blade looks a little small....Can you give me a full on pic. We have a Sword booth at the Texas Renaissance Festival and would maybe get more info on it or one like it...

I'd have to look it up, but it looks 18th century, possibly earlier. Easily a naval cutlass. It appears handmade, look at the unevenness of the blade. Any makers marks on it?
