I came across this today through a friend. I saw some online that were 200 but didn't open like this one did. I was wondering if anyone thought it would be higher in value or less. Here's the pics:

What do you think would be a good ask price?

It is a very nice Japanese Damascene cigarette case. The inlay looks to be copper. And the pagoda makers mark would indicate it was made in the post-war period some time between the 1950's and the present.

I'd say you could get at least $300 for it. Probably more due to the unique double doors.

Hi, thanks, it's solid sterling. But it's tarnished. I Didn't clean it and started the auction at .99 cents. So well see!

If you sold it on ebay.You should have set a starting price of what you would take for it and let it go from there.But you did make money off of it.
