I have an original ink drawing by Frank Reynolds, the artist who illustrated The Pickwick Papers.
Done on water color board, the scene is of a small girl calling to her mom inside the house and a man
with horse and buggy/carriage is out front. On the side of the carriage it says John Hassock, then under that
it says The Streamline Bakery.
Under the scene, written in pencil, a caption reads :
''Yo ho! Mum! It's The Streamline Bakery Service!''
Near the bottom right corner, also in pencil, is the number 6 1/2, and then the initials c.s. (or c. and another letter, maybe a g.)
It appears to be a rough draft, like I said there are erased pencil marks visible.
What could this be worth?
