SO I dug this coin a few years back. Im certain of its authenticity As I dug IN 10 inches down in Granby CT. I sent it out to PCGS and they decided to clean it, and much of the detail with it. And of course sen tit back as unidable to boot.

I think I may have suggested this when you first posted this. Dan Freidus is the foremost authority on Higley coppers, if you haven't contacted him I would do so. I don't know his contact info, but a quick google search brought his facebook and twitter pages.

I spoke with Dan a few times. We never got a chance to connect over some time..I have since sold the coin. I as just interested as what others thought of value
