I would just open it up,,,, mineral Uranium I do not think is toxic in an amount that would fit in the box shown.
OR
Find someone with a Geiger counter and scan it.
My GUESS is that it is "harmless".
But then I do enjoy the occasional unnecessary risk,, lol

How heavy is the box, as in lead protection? U-235 is enhanced material for bombs, and much more dangerous than natural mineral, thus the need for protection to handle/transport.

Isotope 235? Like Hitndahed says I'd find a Geiger counter first.
There's no way anyone can verify from a photo. Anyway if it is U235 your all glowing in the dark by now.

Where do you live, @Julsy14?

I have a Geiger counter. I live in Sacramento, California. If you are anywhere near me, I can check your box to see if it's radioactive.

Philippines sir :BangHead:

I guess Sacramento would be a bit far for you to come, to bring that box for me to check it, then.

Thinking outside the box (sorry could not resist) 8-)

Looking at the USA lettering, I suspect this is not 235, but 23S GS90, that would make this a Corvette part, which are harmless when in the right hands.

Is this for sale online, or at some sort of auction?

So there is a box sitting there, wrapped in newspaper, and tested positive for uranium, so you post on TNet to figure out if it is Uranium, and what it is worth?!?!?!?

I am confused on this to say the least.
