No help here, but that would really be a great item to have in a small frame.

Thanks for the idea, that's jus where it's headed. Hoping to find a nice antique frame.

wingnut6999, That is what I've done with Stock Cert.'s from 1800's-early 1900's, they look good and are pretty good conversation pieces.

other things

I have the marriage license of my grand parents on my mom's side and the one from my great grandparents on my dad's side on the wall. This would make a nice addition.

My great great grandpap kept a diary from 1889 to 1896 in a ledger book. Found this in the pages and was given to him and his wife in 1892. It's about 3 x 5 inch. No info on the company that printed it.

Hey, look at that, I can help someone before someone else does :D

According to the Shoe and Leather Reporter, Volume 54, from 1892

The JC Lappe & Sons Tanning Co Allegheny City Pa are presenting their friends with check No 1893 for 365 happy days. It is on the Bank of Prosperity State of Felicity with surplus stock and boundless capital secured by the bonds of friendship

Also, This was also mentioned in the The Daily Times from New Brunswick, New Jersey · Page 5, but I don't have a membership at newspapers.com

Quite a number of years ago my wife and I bought four railroad stocks to have framed together. You may have heard of them. Reading Railroad, Pennsylvania Railroad, B. & O. Railroad, and Short Line.
